Meet Marcy
Marcy has dedicated her career in public service to fighting for all Ohioans to have a fair playing field as they seek economic and health security. A true daughter of Northwest Ohio, she still lives in her childhood home.
Marcy has fought on the frontlines against unfair trade deals such as NAFTA, CAFTA, and China PNTR – standing up to her own party and special interests to do what is right. Marcy believes that government should be for and by the people, not corporate interests that have hollowed out our heartland.
Marcy Kaptur is a fighter for high-wage jobs, growing a workforce to meet the needs of the 21st century, and protecting our region’s most vital natural resource, the Great Lakes. She’s worked with both parties to secure investments in our communities and has been a true friend of veterans, seniors, first responders and working people. She’s a voice for us all in the People’s House.
